Referrals Make $ense, Inc is a Real Estate firm licensed in Illinois. We have provided this site as a way for brokers in the state to keep their license active while making money providing referral only real estate services.
What is a referral only real estate agent?
A referral only real estate agent is a broker who has decided to no longer pursue a traditional career in real estate but still wishes to make money and keep their license active.
Unlike traditional agents, referral only agents make commissions for referring potential clients to other full time real estate agents for a referral fee.
Who should use your service?
Our service is perfect for any real estate agent who wants to keep their license active and make money on real estate transactions without the hassle of dealing with traditional real estate
Can I still buy and sell real estate?
No. As a referral only agent with our company you are only allowed to refer buyers and sellers to other agents of your choosing.
How much does it cost to join your holding company?
The fee to join our holding company as a referral agent is $50 a year, one of the LOWEST in the industry. Membership renews in April annually.
Do I have to pay NAR© dues?
When joining our company you will no longer be a Realtor(c) member and will not be obligated to pay NAR dues.
Do I still have access to the local MLS?
As a referral only broker you will not have access to any local MLS. Typically they require you to join as a Realtor member and we have chosen not to belong to the NAR.
Since I am in a license holding company do I still need CE?
Yes, you are still a real estate broker in the State of Illinois and will have to meet the CE requirements necessary to keep your license active.
How can I make money as a referral only broker?
Making money as a referral broker is easy. When you find someone looking to buy or sell real estate you refer them to an active broker of your choosing at whatever fee you agree to, OR WE CAN HELP YOU FIND SOMEONE. When the transaction is complete AND we received the referral fee WE WILL PAY 80% to you.
Sponsored brokers in Illinois are not allowed to accept payments for real estate related transactions except through their sponsoring broker.
